Coco by Chanel
Coco, a mysterious, provocative and sensuous fragrance named after Coco Chanel, is built on a major amber note, overlaid with flowers, with warm tones of wood and leather. In the 1980s when showy perfumes were very fashionable Coco resisted the trend. To quote Jacques Polge, its creator, “Je ne fais pas de parfums à la mode, je fais des parfums d’époque”. To translate: “I do not create fashionable fragrances, I create fragrances for an era” Polge travelled to the Orient for the ingredients of the classic Coco fragrance. These include jasmine, Damask rose and Tonka Bean, which combine to form this captivating and voluptuous perfume. Cococ Eau de Parfum can be classified as a floral, Oriental fragrance.
